As a Clinical Neuroscience student at Virginia Tech , Vyan specializes in breaking down complex material into manageable steps while creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes.

"When a student is struggling with a concept, my first step is to identify exactly where the confusion begins. I ask them to walk me through their thinking so I can understand the issue is a gap in functional knowledge, a misunderstanding of terminology, or difficulty applying the concept. From there I usually break the material down into smaller, manageable steps and explain in multiple way until it clicks."
