Vyan Shah brings 4–5 years of tutoring experience and an active learning approach to help K-12 students achieve their personal goals, whether that means excelling on exams, improving their grades, or gaining confidence. As a Clinical Neuroscience student at Virginia Tech, Vyan specializes in the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum as well as Advanced Placement (AP) coursework, breaking down complex material into manageable steps while creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes.

I have them walk me through their thinking so I can understand if the issue is a foundational knowledge gap, a misunderstanding of terminology, or difficulty applying the concept. From there, I usually break the material down into smaller, manageable steps and explain it in multiple ways until it truly clicks."
