Joshua Trowell is a graduate from the University of Liverpool and University of Maryland, College Park with a Master of Public Health in Health Care Management, and Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health, respectively. He was a peer tutor at the University of Maryland, College Park for two years in basic sciences. He tutored courses in Anatomy and Physiology I as well as microbiology. He is a Level III Certified Advanced Tutor through the College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA). He has public health and infectious disease research experience and is currently pursuing his PhD in Emerging Infectious Diseases at the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD with the goal to work as a clinical director for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). He enjoys helping students achieve their academic goals by serving his community through tutoring.
