Jocelyn holds a B.A. in Biology at the University of Pennsylvania and is currently pursuing her D.M.D. at Penn Dental Medicine as part of the seven year Bio-Dental Consortial Program. She has tutored a variety of subjects over six years, working with students ranging from elementary level to college level. Having experience with students with learning disabilities, Jocelyn is quick to adapt to each student, focusing on building connection and mutual respect. Dr. Erin McClinch is a retired Air Force officer with a PhD in Engineering from Virginia Tech and more than 20 years of experience tutoring and teaching a wide range of subjects. A certified teacher with international experience, he excels in SAT prep and advanced mathematics, helping students build both confidence and analytical skills.

Adjunct Professor Ashley Brown blends graduate-level teaching expertise with culturally responsive instruction to make English Language Arts meaningful and inclusive. She empowers students through student-led discussions and tailored support, helping them build confidence, sharpen writing skills, and thrive academically. Her specialty lies in ELA and college readiness for diverse learners.

Jared Fleming recently graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Cybersecurity. His experience as a teaching assistant showcases his enthusiasm for tutoring STEM subjects. Meet Chris Maksimowicz, a recent graduate from Virginia Tech with a degree in Computer Engineering. With a passion in Mathematics and Science, Chris demonstrates his background by tackling challenging programming and computational problems everyday in the workforce. As a tutor, Chris' approach is to create a supportive learning experience and focus on building confidence in subjects such as mathematics and science. fundamentals and teaches a systematic approach to make scary problems look achievable.

Emily’s specialty areas include English, reading, writing, and elementary mathematics. She is also a native Spanish speaker and can offer expert tutoring in that area. Emily is very passionate about helping her students reach their academic potential. She likes to learn about each of her students and adapt to their learning skills to achieve their goals.

Awesome Siduq uses inquiry-based learning to help students master biology, lab techniques, and scientific research. With hands-on research experience and multilingual skills, he simplifies complex concepts, fostering critical thinking and confidence in science.

Sharon Corrales is a graduate of the Honors College at GMU with a degree in Computational Data Sciences. Specializing in math, foundational coding (MATLAB/R Markdown), and early learning, she uses her experience tutoring and mentoring children and her strong academic background (3.8 GPA) to help students build confidence in STEM.

Leon Young holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Psychology from George Mason University Graduating Cum Laude. While completing his degree Leon was a Special Education assistant teacher for Arlington County Public Schools for 4 years. His passion for Psychology helped him thrive in the classroom which led to student success in multiple subjects. While personal excellence has been achieved he finds most joy in helping other students reach their full potential.

A Summa Cum Laude graduate from Virginia Tech, Leena Alsayab specializes in ESOL support and writing. She uses a collaborative approach, working with parents and teachers to provide homework help and develop English vocabulary, drawing on her experience with the Blacksburg Refugee Partnership.

Emily is a seasoned tutor specializing in reading, writing, and STEM subjects. With 5 years of tutoring/teaching experience in K-8, she is dedicated to helping students of all ages and backgrounds thrive academically. Holding a B.S. in Public Health: Clinical Science, Pre-Medical, from George Mason University, she earned Dean's List for multiple semesters.
