Teaching Philosophy
"When a student is struggling with a concept, I find it most helpful to discover where they are coming from and work forward from there. I often zoom out or briefly trace backward to identify exactly what the student already understands. From that foundation, I invite them to build a meaningful personal connection to the material, always striving to spark a modicum of curiosity. If we hit a persistent roadblock after several thorough attempts, I recommend strategically moving to a different problem or taking a brief, refreshing break before coming back to it with a clear mind."
