Fatme Khraibani

Fatme is pursuing a B.A in Integrative studies at GMU with a concentration in Elementary Education. She has over eight (8) years of tutoring experience as of 2019. She has been a volunteer for the ASPIRE program since 2014 providing tutoring 1-2 times a week. She has helped elementary children with reading comprehension, developing writing skills, and developing the fundamental math skills. Her tutoring strategy includes the following; 1) explaining the lesson the teacher taught, 2) reinforcing the lesson by doing the homework that was assigned, 3) making study guides apart from what the teacher created, with more difficult and deep thinking involved to make sure the student actually understood the lesson, and 4) reviewing lessons before the actual test. She has also worked with National Honor Society as well as for Math Honor Society through her high school since 2013. She is able to tutor 1st - 12th grades.
