Teaching Philosophy

"I believe the key to helping a student master a difficult concept is to first identify exactly where the struggle originates and then simplify the problem down to that specific core element. Whether it is substituting real-world values into complex algebraic equations or making word problems silly and fun to lighten the mood, I strive to make learning relatable and less confusing. I stay encouraging through both right and wrong answers, allowing students to practice problems actively to build their own positive momentum and confidence."
