Billing, Made Simple
Your membership starts the Monday of your first tutoring week and renews every 4 weeks by ACH or card autopay — no invoices to remember. 6-month = 6 payments over 24 weeks; 9-month = 9 payments over 36 weeks, a full school year. Memberships run on autopay only.
Life Happens? Pause.
Pause your membership for up to 8 weeks per year — travel, sports season, exams. Your term simply extends and your hours wait for you.
No Cancellation Fee
End your term early and there’s no penalty — the hours you used simply adjust to our standard package rate (never more than $200), because your discount reflects the term commitment. Most families find pausing is the better option.
SAT/ACT Is Separate
Test prep is our specialized premium program with its own tutors and rates — membership hours don’t apply to SAT/ACT prep.
Prices are per 4-week cycle with ACH autopay. Card autopay adds a 4% processing cost — the card price is shown on every plan, so there are no surprises on your payment schedule.

Meet the tutor first. If it’s not a fit, you owe nothing and we’ll match you with someone else. When you continue, your trial hour simply counts as the first hour of your package.
Renewal Protects Your Slot
When your balance runs low, we email you before anything happens — your next block is added so your weekly slot stays yours, and unused hours roll in. Pausing is one click, always.

If your tutor is unavailable, you will never lose a session.
- Holiday Weeks: During Thanksgiving week, the last week of December, or Spring Break, we automatically extend your membership if a session can’t be held
- Make-Up Sessions: You get priority rescheduling — and if we can’t fit the make-up before your term ends, we extend your term for you
- Memberships and package renewals run on ACH or card autopay; Zelle is available for one-time package purchases only
- Every payment is processed securely, protecting your privacy and financial information
- Once payment is received, your hours appear in your Magellan Tutoring profile and scheduling continues seamlessly
- The Semester Plan (40 hours) splits into 2 payments of $1,400
- Flexible installment options are available on qualifying packages to make investing in your child’s success easier
- Payment is due after your risk-free trial session and before continued tutoring begins — when you continue, your trial hour counts as the first hour of your package
